Florida Senate Panel Approves Counseling Compact

The Florida Senate Health Policy Committee has unanimously approved legislation to enact the Counseling Compact.

The panel approved the measure during a November 3 meeting in which bill sponsor Sen. Ana Marie Rodriguez and members of the Florida Counselors Association testified in support of the Compact.

The legislation will now proceed to the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services.
