The ability for those needing mental health care to have continuity of care and access to specialty care continues to grow.
Recently, Rhode Island Governor Daniel McKee signed the Counseling Compact Legislation to make Rhode Island the 37th member state. The Compact allows professional counselors licensed and residing in a Compact member state to practice in other member states by applying for a privilege to practice instead of a single-state license.
