Counseling Compact Reaches 14 Members

Ohio, Colorado, and Louisiana are the newest members of the Counseling Compact. With enactments in these states, the Compact has reached 14 members.

Over the next few months, the member states will nominate their Commission delegates and the Commission will officially convene its first meeting to draft the rules and bylaws of Compact.

Once the Commissioners develop rules and establish a method for information sharing, member states can begin granting Compact privileges to practitioners in other Compact member states.
